All's Well!

But no internet connection in the hotel save through my mom's computer, which I'm hijacking for a moment.

The operation went well, and I'm not even going to have much of a scar when this is over.  Final tally: two lacrosse-ball sized fibroids removed plus a slightly smaller one -- this AFTER 3 months of lupron to shrink them -- plus, while she was at it the doctor toasted all my endometriosis which has driven me nuts since I was a kid. She was able to leave enough of the uterus intact that I probably wouldn't even have to have a caesarian if I gave birth. Which is good, 'cause this hurts!

The first few nights in the hospital were pretty painful, but I'm back in a hotel room now and should be going home in another day or so.  I can get up and down out of bed now without help and I'm walking pretty well today.

Glad to know that you're doing better and I sure hope this helps some of the problems you've been having. I had one the size of a cantelope removed a few years ago...was a huge help to my symptoms. *hugs* Hope you're home and well soon!
