Peter S. Beagle trying to get $ from company that made his book into a successful film

Peter S. Beagle has written many wonderful books. The Last Unicorn is wildly popular and happens to be one of my three favorite books, hence my mood icons. The company that turned it into a film is claiming that they made no profit, and therefore they don't have to pay him his cut. Ditto for his script of the animated LOTR, whose animation was a bit cheesy, but which at any rate paved the way for Peter Jackson.

I think Peter is a mighty good fellow who's touched an awful lot of people, and I believe him. He's attempting to put the money together to sue. There are various ways to help him, including getting the word out. Go here for more info.
