Falling in love with mac again

Oh, gosh. I haven't used voice commands in a few years. I'm starting to get really painful wrists and hands again. I can't stop myself from typing too quickly but I was looking for ways to avoid using the trackpad more than I must.

I am finding incredibly useful:
"Move page up/down/to top/to bottom"
"Switch to [application name]"
"Get mail"
"Close window"

and most of all the strangely-named

"Make this page speakable" which allows one to save a verbal bookmark.

I now have all my commonly-used web pages and documents labeled with verbal bookmarks, so I just have to say "LJ" or "Imladris" or "class notes".

MUCH easier.

And in other news, one of my fanfic stories I posted in March has over 50 reviews. I love my readers!

Grrr. This is goofy.

My first-ever comment on my Greek blog is not anything about the blog, but someone claiming copyright on the phrase, "It's All Greek To Me."

Riiiiiiight.

I did, in fact, see her semi-literate blog by that name when I set mine up last year, but at the time, hers had been dormant for a while, so I just said, "heck with it." She's now revamped it and started posting again, and I suppose I can see being cranky at someone else for using the phrase, but not really.

I can just see all the people with blogs named "The Road Goes Ever On" or "One Day At A Time" or the like suing each other.
