sepdetI "cordially dislike" small dogs, to use Tolkien's expression, but still. Two nice people from my old online community have a small dog named Toby whom they love dearly. I know Toby, because when I moved out to California they let me sleep at their apartment the night after the movers had taken my Stuff away. And they took me to the airport-- I think? Gah, was it 9 years ago?
Annyway. Oakenguy's pockets are not large, and Toby has diabetes and some other odd syndrome that sounds like it was named after Peter Cushing, and Oaken is asking for help in paying vet bills for the little monster. In exchange he is sending truffles (which I hear are very good) to donors. I donno how to make the lj-user link thing but anyway, The "Insulin costs HOW much??!!!" Pledge Drive for Toby.
You know, the world of roleplay is strange. I know Oaken in RL, and yet I still think of him as "that werewolf who leapt up and caught a brick in his mouth on his Rite of Passage".
