First Award for my Greece page
May. 17th, 2007 10:13 amIt's just a nod from the Squidoo site's team, but still gratifying!
Guess I got the video up just in time. If a few Greeks check in, I can contact them to try and hunt down a Greek musician and get a realio, trulio used-with-permission soundtrack in exchange for free advertising to the musician and a link to their website or online music store products if they've got any.
Now THIS is a travel lens. Wow.
Ancient Greece Odyssey: A Traveller's Journal
Says Citizen Squid Giddy Gabby, who nominated the lens: "From the intro module, 'The Mything Link,' on through Atlantis, to the Native American musicians in front of the Library of Hadrian, this lens captured my interest, then took my breath away. And I’m not even a Greek enthusiast! Funny, well-researched, and full of stunning images, GreekGeek takes us on the first day of her trek through Greece, with the wide eyes of a neophyte and the grace and intelligence of a passionate scholar."
