I really do think cats understand us to some extent. Shadow has always been a bit psychic or something but also understood stuff. Like I remember when I was 9yrs old I was walking to my elementary school that was three blocks down from my house and just as I crossed from the corner of my block (my house was three down from the corner) to the next block I heard a meow and turned to find her there at the corner waiting for me like "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!?!" I said "no bad kitty! Go home. Shadow!" she looked at me then got a look like "fine" and went home. :D she was pretty young at that point too, only like a year old. now she's deaf so no more funny moments of her understanding talk but she knows still when I'm upset and not feeling good. *snuggles with kitty*
