Homeboy Industries

I've heard of things like this, but it's nice to have one in my local neighborhood. I'm currently munching on good sourdough bread from Homeboy Bakeries in LA. They bring their bread to the Irvine Farmer's Market.

It's a nonprofit that trains at-risk and gang-involved youth in various skills, then gives them a job.  Their motto is "jobs, not jails."

Good bread, too!
