sepdet...just caused the fourth earthquake I've felt this month. (Three of the four were centered in Yorba Linda up the road, where Nixon is buried, so the Twitterverse has decided it's his fault.)
As usual, the moment things stopped shaking, I was searching Twitter for #earthquake to determine magnitude and location. It's the most realtime seismograph available.
It's weird. I went for years without feeling an earthquake, and there have been four minor shakes this month. I guess I just got lucky, and the epicenter of one is quite near me so I'm feeling all the little stuff instead of just the 5+ stuff.
ETA: Looking back at my "California" tag, I notice an odd thing: the last time I felt a lot of earthquakes was in '08.
Maybe it really IS Zombie Nixon, and he's commenting on the elections!
