Procrastination Break
Jun. 22nd, 2007 02:17 pmIt's a sobering thought to realize this is the second-to-last batch of papers I have to write before the dissertation, and I'm STILL finishing them at the last minute.
Random note #1: I HEARD THE SPACE SHUTTLE TODAY!
Boom-boom. Eardrums go tingle tingle. I remain a child, as far as the space shuttle is concerned: it made me as giddy as Disneyland at 10AM when they cut the ribbon, back when I was young enough to think it was the Magic Kingdom.
I wish I'd had time to drive up to Edwards Air Force Base when I heard it was landing here due to bad weather in Florida. I've seen a launch, but never a landing, and the shuttle program is winding down.
Random note #2: Squidoo is too much fun. A little Wikipedia-like, except I have control over the content, mwah.
So -- Ancient Greece Odyssey now spans two long webpages and covers all the stuff I saw/did in Athens. Next up is Eleusis.
Various other Squidoo pages I've wasted time making:
Jackie Robinson
Student Bloopers
The Care and Feeding of Apostrophes
Web Flotsam
And now, back to my paper on James vs. Paul. Oh, how I wish Paul had not gotten his mitts on early Christianity.

It is It's Name, now, btw. Got any ideas as to topic?
Or, you know, 3d field?
