"I'm thinking." "Pastels!"
Mar. 13th, 2006 12:52 amHm. Not entirely happy with this wimpy color set (except I had fun making leaves). However, LJ customization is not something I feel like learning right now. (Although if anyone feels like telling me how exactly you all got your pretty LJs to work, that would be much appreciated!)
I want something striking and clean and a little dramatic, not kleenex box.
Mainly, I want:
~ userpics
~ clearly defined breaks between entries
~ maximum use of screen space (no calendar)
~ background image or at least a top border
~ clean fonts
However, I tried all the other themes and all of them seemed to be missing one or another of these elements.
The main reason was that I know how many people hate the invisible cursor problem which crops up with the black-background LJ layouts that I prefer!
[[ EDIT: Ah, there, nevermind, I've taught myself enough to make a more comfortable-looking interface. ]]

Date: 2006-03-13 01:00 pm (UTC)Oh, and it also is usable by a free account, since that's all I had when I designed it. You need to use S1 and basically just copy/paste segments into the manual overrides section. You lose tagging support because you're using an S1 style, however.
So, yeah. Feel free to use my design or something, if you want :P
