CAT AND DOG OWNERS: PET FOOD RECALL!
Mar. 18th, 2007 02:57 amPET FOOD RECALL for WET FOOD, dogs and cats
ALERT! If you have any dogs or cats and feed them the meat chunks/gravy style of pet food, GO HERE IMMEDIATELY to make sure the food you're using isn't on the recall list!
The toxin hasn't been identified, but whatever it is, it's causing kidney failure and/or death in pets.
(I realize most of the folks on my flist have already heard this somewhere, but I'm gonna pass it on just to make sure everyone gets it. Gah. Galenabot eats some of the food that's on the recall list, and she already used up 3 lives this Christmas.)

Date: 2007-03-18 03:23 pm (UTC)My outside puppies eat the Ol Roy wet, but it's the 20 oz. cans, and it's not on the list. Still, to be safe, I'm switching them for a while cause my outside puppies are in the 12-17 years old range.
